Mal Thomas......................Mal was brought up in a strict yet wise and out looking Christian family and committed himself to Christ at a the age of ten. Mal has been in leadership in the church since his early twenties and has seen many changes over the past 40 years. The most recent, profoundly different and rewarding change is the one that has transformed BCLC into an outreaching, serving and kingdom relevant church. Mal, now retired, had spent his working life in the steel industry where he managed men and projects in a tough, competitive, man oriented environment. His experience in the world of work, church, and leadership has enabled him to be, a significant catalyst for the change that the church is now embarking on. Mal serves on the core leadership at BCLC and manages the practical side of the Center and all that it entails; Mal also deals with the preparation of projects, business plans etc and fundraising. Mal is also responsible for making contact with local organisations and government and health bodies working with them so that we can provide the services in the community that are needed
